On December 20th, 2021, Austria ELITE PILOXING Instructor Martina Birnbaum has organized a PILOXING GIVES event in collaboration with Radio Station "Hitradio Ö3" in support of the “Licht ins Dunkel Soforthilfefond”. We couldn't be more proud and thankful to have you take the initiative to host this class, and to motivate your fellow instructors including Claudia and Rebecca to host their own classes on December 16th and December 22nd! Since 2014, the most popular radio station in Austria “Hitradio Ö3” is hosting a big event “Ö3-Weihnachtswunder”, where 3 moderators are broadcasting 24/7 without eating any solid food (only smoothies and soups are allowed), for 3 days before Christmas Eve. The playlists features only songs which were placed for a donation. Because of the fame of the radio station, there are a lot of ideas how to raise money for this good cause – so that’s how I got the idea of holding a PILOXING GIVES class.
The donations goes to an Austrian none for profit organization called “Licht ins Dunkel Soforthilfefond”. They provide money to families that suffered a sudden stroke of fate, like e.g. one parent dies and the family can no longer pay their bills or e.g. one family member has an accident which leads to huge bills for buying handicapped accessible tools/equipment.
